An eerie, yet peaceful instrumental that was therapeutic for me during the writing, mixing & mastering of the song.

I wrote this song in the Fall of 2018, then sent it to my good friend Wade for guitar ideas. He nailed the guitar parts & took the song 2 another level with the "e-bow" tracks during the verses, Awesome! I love collaborating with Wade & we've been doing it for years. Wade engineered, mixed & mastered the song. He has taught me so much about recording & live sound for he is one of the best at both ~ I played my 2001 Jazz bass through my Nitewalker Bass Guitar Tube PreAmp & I LOVE my tone!
I won a set of pickups from Nordstrand Audio a few years ago at the Tsunami Bass Hang (during NAMM), Here's what they sound like....
I have a new endorsement with Ace Performance Picks. Hailing from Tennesse, Anthony Crawford loved going to the music store with his dad & brother. He loved all the different types of picks he would see and that facination turned into his own creations starting about ten years ago. Now, in 2023 I will be using his picks and l love the way the feel, play and help articulate my tone ! Find them on Instragram: @aceperformancepicks You can also search for them on Facebook & Etsy ~
Where I share life and other cool things....
I've been playing bass guitar since the fall of 1976. I'm a multi-instrumentalist playing rhythm/lead guitar (favoring the acoustic), drums, keys/piano, in that order by the love and proficiency of playing each instrument. I switched to bass guitar when my band needed a bassist and it was then that I realized I had found my niche, especially when it came to playing bass and singing at the same time. I am also a singer/songwriter and feel they are my strongest attributes. I love to record and perform live.
I am inspired by the music I listen to, the stories I read & documentaries of artists I like. There are different things in life that motivate me to write music, such as heart break, overcoming a battle or the many amazing things of God. What is most excellent is collaborating with other musicians to create new music!
My earliest influences of music and bands were songs my momma played on the radio when I was 3 or so. My earliest memories of who I listened to on the radio when I was 7 were The Partridge Family, Gilbert O'Sullivan, The Jackson Five, Bobby Sherman, David Cassidy, Paul McCartney & Wings to name a few. I used to sing with the radio to the kids on my block using a flashlight as my microphone. My biggest influence overall in music is Elton John. He was the first artist I saw in concert, Denver, Co. supporting the Captain Fantastic & the Brown Dirt Cowboy album. Other influences include The 5th Dimension, Rare Earth David Bowie, The Sweet, Steely Dan, Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, The Doobie Bros., The Who, Yes, Chicago, The Chi-Lites, KISS, Neil Young, Three Dog Night, Rick Derringer, The Commadores, Carol King, Neil Diamond, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Steve Miller Band, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Barry White, Queen (2nd concert), War, Grand Funk Railroad, The Guess Who, The O'Jays, Foreigner, Rufus/Featuring Chaka Khan, Sly & the Family Stone, Van Halen, Rush & a lot more! You can see music covers I've done on my You Tube channel found on the social media link page.
Check out the "Welcome to Swansonville Podcast", Episode 12, (4ward to the 25 minute mark) my first interview ever... I was invited earlier this year to be on their podcast and I gladly accepted the opportunity. Thanks Joe and Angie, it was and honor indeed... I'll be playing bass for them in August, on the 17th at The Whiskey in Hollywood! Hope to see you there!
I'm available for church events & more. Are you in need of a guest worship lead, music & testimony for the Men's Retreat or a fill in to give your worship leader a rest? I'm in Riverside & will travel ~ I'm also available for remote recording on bass, keys, guit vocals ~
